Miss Marnie, founder of Tone Arts, has been a huge part of Chloe’s art journey to date. Marnie is very special to us. Recently, Marnie kicked off her little art studio: Tone Arts. Tone Arts is a welcoming space to attend and explore art. Marnie dreams up concepts and then gently guides students through their own decision-making and project-management. Whenever we leave, Chloe always asks, “When are we coming back?” If anyone wants our recommendation, feel free to reach out and we can get you in touch with Marnie.
Wedding: R+H <3 (New Farm Park)
What a treat to work with lovely Henny & Ren! Henny & Ren opted for a quiet elopement with family - it was a beautiful ceremony and time spent with loved ones. Enjoy some moments from Henny & Ren’s day (the images happen to showcase our work during the middle part of the day during summer in Brisbane). Thank you for working with us, R+H!
“We are very happy with the photos and it was a pleasure to have Poppy & Sage as our wedding photographer.”
~Ren & Henny, valued wedding clients
We often forget to capture behind-the-scenes, but Pete remembered this time (pictured here is me obsessing over light leaks… anyone who has worked with me knows that any light “needs to make sense”):
One last favourite one (Pete took this one):
I tell a lie… this was my version within the same location as the photograph directly above:
Wedding: M+D <3 (New Farm Park)
This was a lovely day with Marcus & Daphne, as well as their nearest and dearest. The afternoon turned out to be perfect. It was a week-day wedding and meant that the usually very busy gardens were easier to navigate (we try to minimise random people in the background of your wedding photography - can be a bit challenging, of course, at popular locations, such as New Farm Park). We want to wish Marcus & Daphne a lifetime of happiness and many, many more happy family memories.
One last sweet moment for good measure:
Actually, one more. There were a few that we could not decide between grayscale or colour and so we delivered both. We shared the colour version of this one above so here is the grayscale version and you can be the judge:
Wedding: K+D <3 (New Farm Park)
New Farm Park, full of blooming roses, is a stunning location for a Brisbane City elopement. Lovely Karolina & Darcy chose New Farm Park for an intimate elopement with family. The following images were taken from one hour of coverage on an overcast day (it had been drizzling just before they arrived but then cleared up). It was a pleasure to work alongside Jamie, one half of Jamie & Cara from Brisbane City Celebrants. Enjoy!
Wedding: M+B <3 (St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church + Hillstone St Lucia)
Lovely Marita and Barnaby had their ceremony at St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, portraits at the University of Queensland and then the reception at Hillstone St Lucia. It was a perfect day full of wonderful memories. M+B were delightful to work with! We want to wish a lifetime of happiness for them. We have shared 250 of our favourite images from the day. Enjoy!
