Upma (model) & Jess (hmua) <3

We had a lot of fun shooting with the lovely Upma at the Japanese Gardens, Mt Coot-tha. Check out her instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/upmabravo/ & her facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/upmafashionista/. Jess, the lovely hair & make-up artist (instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/jess.k_makeup/), stepped in on the day and handled the pressure effortlessly. The shoot was undertaken for Hunter Creative (http://www.huntercreativenetwork.com.au/). The project was entitled "Tranquility". It was a pleasure working with everyone involved.

Maleny :: Botanic Gardens & Bird World

We enjoy being a tourist in our own backyard sometimes. There are so many beautiful places in and around Brisbane. Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World is located at 233 Maleny Stanley River Rd, Maleny QLD 4552. It's about a 1.5 hour drive north from Brisbane CBD. The Maleny Botanic Gardens currently cover 14 acres; we would recommend spending the best part of a day there - perhaps take a picnic! The Bird World section covers over 1000 m2 and currently houses over 300 birds, including Australian cockatoos, lorikeets, exotic parrots and macaws. The diversity of avian life is vibrant & fascinating! We highly recommend the experience. :-)

Restless Legs & Itchy Feet

As well as portraiture, we enjoy travel photography. There always seems to be fresh inspiration around every corner. We aren't big on numbers but we have been to 20 countries to date. We are currently interspersing our regular Instagram posts with some shots from our international travels. If you enjoy travel photography as much as we do, we think we will find a lot to talk about over there. We welcome all tips, recommendations and local insights. Safe travel to fellow explorers! And hello from sunny Brisbane! :-)

Brisbane :: Jolly's Lookout

This is a classic story: you live next to x popular landmark for years and years and yet you never get around to visiting it yourself. Friends had recommended Jolly's Lookout to us on many occasions... and, last month, we finally got around to seeing it for ourselves. It is stunning!
